The Verdant Circle

A sprawling herbarium and alchemical research station hidden deep within the Jade Reaches. The Verdant Circle is ostensibly a place of healing and botanical study, but whispers suggest darker experiments are conducted in the lower laboratories.

Doctor Vesper runs the facility with an iron fist, subjecting apprentices and test subjects alike to her theories about the nature of curses. She believes that suffering must be understood to be cured—and that some knowledge is worth any moral cost.

The Circle’s gardens contain plants found nowhere else in the realm, some of which seem to have been deliberately mutated through magical means. Whether they’re tools for healing or for furthering the curse remains unclear.
