The Rust Islands

A chain of small, rocky islands surrounded by treacherous waters. The Rust Islands are home to Captain Vale’s fleet, and the only place in the realm where the Siren’s Gambit can truly hide. The islands are covered in the wreckage of a hundred ships, victims of storms and the islands’ deadly reefs.

The waters around the islands seem to resist the curse—ships that reach the Rust Islands find temporary safety. Captain Vale believes this is due to an ancient sea pact made by her ancestors, though she won’t explain the details.

Hidden in the islands’ caves are treasures beyond measure, and secrets too: artifacts from sunken civilizations, and something else, something that moves in the deep water.
