The Deepforge Mountains

The ancient dwarven stronghold carved into living stone, where the great forges of legend still burn with eternal flame. The Deepforge is both a testament to dwarven craft and a symbol of what has been lost: the upper halls are mostly abandoned now, their glory fading. The lower depths are sealed, guarded by ancient protections that even the master smiths no longer fully understand.

Forge Master Hurn maintains his workshop in the mid-levels, surrounded by weapons and artifacts from ages past. The forges here have tempered steel in ways no surface smith can replicate, and if anything can pierce the veil of the curse, it may be something crafted in these depths.

Rumors speak of deeper things stirring in the sealed chambers—echoes of something that predates even dwarven civilization. The mountain itself seems to be waiting for something.
